Royal Enfield is one of those motorcycle brands in the world which have been operated on fossil fuel since its beginning. It is a brand that just hopes on its timeless nature, nostalgia and relies heavily on its heritage and legacy. Nonetheless, Royal Enfield is a tech-savvy firm as well, and it already has its tentacles in the electric motorcycle industry.
The firm has a sub brand named Flying Flea, which it uses in its electric motorcycle business. Flying Flea began with FF C6 (C means Classic) and presently we need to take a look at FF S6 (S means Scrambler) that has just been introduced in the current Motoverse event in Goa. Flying Flea S6 India Debut & Positioning
The Flying Flea S6 Electric Scrambler Royal Enfield Flying Flea S6 is a new model and it was introduced internationally at the EICMA 2025 and recently at the Motoverse in India. The company is branding FF S6 as Lightweight City+ EV that as the name indicates is more of a city car and can also make out of town trips.
It is simply a Scrambler variant of FF C6 and receives specific equipment and parts that makes it worthy of moderately harsh trails and other rough paths. There is no specific date given as to when this will launch on the roads but it will be sometime in 2026. In the field of design, FF S6 does have a fair share of elements to differentiate between it and FF C6.
Design & Hardware Enhancements
These are knuckle guards, headlight cowl, front beak, USD telescopic front forks (replacing girder forks), front 19 inch and rear 18 inch wire-spoke wheels with dual-sport tyres, distinctive LED turn indicators with inbuilt tail lights (like Himalayan 450) and single-piece narrow Scrambler seat among others.
Features Shared With FF C6
What to expect? Its LED lighting, aluminium primary framework, magnesium battery casing, advanced swingarm, 3.5-inch round TFT touchscreen, operated by Qualcomm, advanced switchgear, cruise control, keyless go system as well as others are shared with FF C6. FF S6 has a larger suspension travel and greater ground clearance.
Flying Flea S6 even functionally is quite different to the FF C6. The key indicator is the use of chain drive with S6 as compared to a belt drive on C6. Flying Flea brand will provide exclusive and high-end ownership to consumers. It even acquires Flying Flea Tech Centre on right switchgear button.
Off-Road Features & India-Specific Expectations
FF S6 India Debut Other FF S6 India Debut features Several interesting features such as a special off-road mode, lean-sensing ABS, full Ride Modes, Traction Control, voice assist feature and others are also present. The royal Enfield Flying Flea S6 and Flying Flea C6 may be in a higher price, due to what each of them has to offer.
