Mahindra has recorded growths in YoY and MoM sales with Scorpio recording best sales.
Mahindra registered a growth of 6.28 per cent in year against year sales in Q3 2025 in total sales standing at 1,44,503 units as compared to 1,35,962 units in the same period in 2024. This expansion was greatly due to high performances of the Thar /ROXX and the Scorpio/N models which cumulatively accounted to almost 49 percent of the Mahindra quarterly sales.

Scorpio/N was the best-seller of Mahindra with a figure of 41,959 and an annual growth of 3.7% and Thar/ROXX with an annual growth of 63.97% to 28,688 units, bore the testimony of its rising popularity with the buyers of lifestyle SUV. Nonetheless, such models as the XUV700 (21,774 units, -17.6) and XUV3XO (21,791 units, -22.18) experienced minor declines because of production realignments and increased competition in the middle-size SUV segments.

The Bolero, despite a 18,369 unit decline in YoY sales, marked a 14.97 percent drop in sales to a new low of 18,369 units, and the EV portfolio of Mahindra has made a significant contribution to the overall sales, with its XEV 9e (7,394 units) and BE 6 (4,798 units) registering its presence in the sales record. The Marazzo too experienced an unexpected recovery though at a low level of 676 percent YoY at 225 units.

Good sales growth has been reported by Mahindra in Sept 2025. Wholesales were at 56,233 units which is a 10% improvement compared to the 51,062 units sold in the same year of the previous year. It also revealed a robust growth of 43 percent as compared to 39,999 units sold in Aug 2025.

In the model wise split we are at the position of Scorpio N / Classic with 18,372 units sold last month. Sales enjoyed a robust performance on YoY and MoM basis by 27 and 87 percent respectively. The sales had been 14,438 units in Sept 2024 and in Aug 2025 the sales were 9,840 units.
Mahindra Thar, which comes in a 3 door and 5 door (Roxx) model, was offered at No. 2 with a volume of 11,846 units sold in Sept 2025. It registered a powerful 34 per cent YoY growth of 8,843 units compared to 6,997 units MoM sales. Recently, Thar facelift has been launched with a plethora of feature additions and new colours even as it still pulls power through the same line.

This has increased the demand of XUV700 that recorded 9,764 units sales in the last one month. Although it has shown an improvement trend of a marginal 1% improvement compared with 9,646 units sold in Sept 2024, it has been revealing a promising increase of 97% MoM growth compared to 4,956 units sold in Aug 2025. More recently, the XUV700 facelift has also been displayed by Mahindra that may even cause even greater stir in sales.
Mahindra XUV 3XO was also in high demand with 9,032 units being sold in the previous month. It was flat YoY growth although it was improved by 64% on a MoM basis relative to 5,521 units sold in Aug 2025. Mahindra Bolero Neo has been introduced that has the potential to increase its sales in the next few months during which the numbers declined to 2,747 units last month. This was a 66% YoY and MoM decline. New Bolero Neo is introduced with full refresh in regard to its exterior and interior design and new technology.
The sales of the EV portfolio including the XEV 9e and BE6 of Mahindra reached 2, 619 units and 1, 701 units respectively. These are the new products to the company. The XEV 93 recorded an improvement of 13 percent MoM sales of 2,313 units and BE6 recorded 10 percent MoM sales. Mahindra XUV400 experienced 149 Unit Sales in the month before, which was a 84 percent decrease compared to the 94 percent decrease on the previous month, 66 unit sales in Aug 2025. Mahindra Marazzo followed the list of sales as it was struggling to gain the attention of consumers. It had fallen behind to 3 units in sales last month. It was a 57% YoY and 93% MoM drop in the number of units sold in Sept 2024 of 7 and 46 units in Aug 2025 respectively.
