Citroen, a French automaker, has made a big step in India when Citroen Aircross SUV received a prestigious 5-star safety rating by Bharat NCAP. The SUV received 27.05/32 in Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) and 40/49 in Child Occupant Protection (COP), and that is a 4-star rating.
The Citroen Aircross is an offering with more than 40+ safety features as standard to Indian buyers. Among the major features are 6 airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill Hold Assist, ISOFIX child seat mounts, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and 3-point seatbelts on the entire seats.

The Bharat NCAP crash testing was performed on the 5S model of the Aircross that has a flexible seating arrangement. Constructed using High-Strength Steel (HSS), Advanced High-Strength Steel (AHSS) and Ultra High-Strength Steel (UHSS), the SUV is capable of absorbing front and side impact and cabin intrusion.
