Kia Sonet Diesel 1.5 – Biggest Price Drop
The diesel-powered Sonet has received the most significant price reduction under GST rationalisation. Variants have become cheaper by ₹1.01 lakh to ₹1.64 lakh, making the diesel Sonet one of the most value-for-money options in the segment, especially for buyers who prefer long-distance efficiency.
- HTE(O) 6MT: Now ₹8.98 lakh (Earlier ₹9.99 lakh)
- GTX+ DT 6AT: Now ₹14.09 lakh (Earlier ₹15.73 lakh) – Biggest cut in the lineup
With these cuts, the Sonet Diesel is set to appeal strongly to fleet operators and high-mileage users.
Kia Sonet Turbo Petrol 1.0: All-Rounder at a Lower Price.
The 1.0 litre turbo petrol Sonet has also turned out to be much cheaper, with price reductions of between 86,700 and one point three four lakh. This renders the turbo-petrol model a better offer to customers who want to have some power, but do not have to scamble their pocket.
- HTK 6iMT: Now ₹8.79 lakh (Earlier ₹9.65 lakh)
- X Line DCT: Now ₹13.65 lakh (Earlier ₹14.99 lakh)
The lower prices have allowed the Sonet Turbo Petrol to be more competitive in the sporty segment with its competitors such as the Nexon Turbo and the Venue N Line
Kia Sonet Petrol 1.2 – Entry-Level Variants Now More Accessible
A considerable price adjustment has also been given to the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol Sonet that is the cheapest model to enter the line. The Sonet has dropped by 94,626 to 69,763, and it can be considered as a reasonable option among first-time SUV buyers.
- HTE: Now ₹7.30 lakh (Earlier ₹7.99 lakh)
- HTK+(O): Now ₹9.59 lakh (Earlier ₹10.53 lakh)
At these new prices, the Sonet Petrol 1.2 now borders the premium hatchback segment, attracting those buyers whose pockets used to be closed to it.
