Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) one of the highest selling carmakers in the country has declared a colossal price cut on its passenger vehicle portfolio. This follows a move by the government to amend GST rates on automobiles, which take effect 22nd September 2025. The new tax regime has not only made GST slabs simplified but has also made the overall cost burden of buyers less making Hyundai cars affordable during this festive season.

GST on small vehicle has been lowered to 18 and large cars and SUVs will henceforth attract a flat rate of 40 per cent GST rather than the previous 45-50 per cent bracket with cessation. Hyundai has assured that it will 100 percent transfer these GST incentives to consumers.
