Royal Enfield Electric FF C6 cruiser bike spied testing in Chennai. Expected to launch in Q1 2026 with 100-150 km range, 4-5 kWh battery, and retro-inspired Flying Flea design. Check key details here.
Royal Enfield is moving full throttle into the electric mobility space. After unveiling the FF C6 electric cruiser at EICMA last year, the bike has now been spotted on road trials in Chennai, giving enthusiasts the first real-world look at what could be Royal Enfield’s first production-ready EV.

The company has already lined up three electric motorcycles for testing — the FF C6 cruiser, FF S6 scrambler, and the HIM-E concept. Out of these, the C6 is expected to lead the charge when it officially launches in the first quarter of 2026.
Royal Enfield Flying Flea-Inspired Design
The Royal Enfield Electric FF C6 pays homage to the brand’s historic Flying Flea motorcycle that served during World War II. The new model borrows several retro design cues such as:
- Circular headlamp and mirrors
- Girder forks
- Minimal body panels
- Old-school fenders with struts
The bike has a comfortable upright sitting position and the motorcycle is mounted on massive 19 inch alloy wheels. The pillion seat seems to be detachable, which provides riders with an increased level of customization.
Royal Enfield demonstrated a special battery design at EICMA, in the form of wavy fin patterns, which may not only look stylish but also facilitate cooling.
Royal Enfield Electric FF C6 – Performance & Range
The official specs are still kept a secret, but there are reports in the industry that it performs similar to the 250cc-350cc petrol-powered bike. The anticipated must-nots include:
- Range: 100-150 km on a single charge
- Battery Pack: 4-5 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP).
- Motor: Mid mounted, belt-driven to ride quieter and smoother.
- Cooling & Durability: Magnesium casing and high-tech thermal control and IP67 battery protection.

The bike is also expected to feature disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS as standard.
Tech & Features
Royal Enfield seems to be blending retro looks with modern tech in the FF C6. Spotted test mules and earlier teasers confirm:
- Circular digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity
- Turn-by-turn navigation, music, call and SMS alerts
- Keyless start system with a button mounted on the faux fuel tank
- Expected advanced connected features for EV riders
Launch Timeline
Provided that everything works as intended, the Royal Enfield Electric FF C6 may officially enter the market in early 2026, becoming one of the most fashionable retro-themed electric cruise motorcycles in India. As the popularity of EVs grows and Royal Enfield has a strong base of fans, it has the potential to become a game-changer in the mid-size electric motorcycle market.
