Mahindra Aug 2025 SUV Sales Report 2025. One of the largest automotive companies in India, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M Ltd.) today announced a total auto sales of 75,901 vehicles in August 2025 which is a flat performance to the same month a year ago. The figures cover both domestic and exports of utility vehicles, commercial vehicles, three-wheelers, and exports.

Mahindra SUV Sales
In the utility vehicles business, Mahindra registered a sale of 39,399 units in the domestic market, a reduction of 9% compared with the 43,277 units sold in August 2024. Total UV sales were 40,846 units including exports.
However, in April–August 2025, the company has realized a growth of 15.6% YoY with the sale of 2,41,337 SUVs, as compared to 2,09,148 units during the same period in the previous year, highlighting the continued growth in demand in the medium term.
Mahindra Aug 2025 SUV Sales – Commercial Vehicle Performance
Mahindra registered 22,427 vehicles in the domestic market in commercial vehicles (CV).
- The LCV under-2T market registered a slight decline of 1 percentage point in August and recorded sales of 2,925 units, as opposed to 2,957 units in the previous year. This sub-segment also experienced a decrease of 14% in YTD volumes to 13,496 units, compared to 15,748 units in 2024.
- The LCV 2T–3.5T category continued to expand at a high rate with sales of 19,502 units, an improvement of 13%, as compared to 17,263 units in August 2024.
- The performance of 90,834 units sales increased by 10% on a YTD basis.

Thanks to EV Push, Three-Wheelers on a High
The three-wheeler market (including electric models) of Mahindra remained on a booming trajectory:
- In August 2025, the company sold 10,527 units, an increase of 13% YoY.
- Between April and August, the sales increased by 33% to 40,561 units, compared to 30,570 in 2024.
The obvious motivating factor here is that Mahindra targets cheap electric three-wheelers, which are beginning to pick up in urban and semi-urban markets.
Exports Enhance Mahindra International Presence
Exports had another positive addition to the report card:
- In August 2025, Mahindra exported 3,548 automobiles, which is 16% more than in August 2024.
- April–August cumulative exports had reached 15,989 units; this is 37% higher than last year.

That highlights the increased internationalisation of Mahindra at a time when the domestic SUV segment is experiencing temporary problems.
