The Honda PCX 160, a popular maxi-scooter and a bestseller in Brazil, has received a refreshing update for the 2026 model year. Known for its premium and performance profile, PCX 160 has dominated its segment since its launch in 2012 and today it accounts for a 33% market share in Brazil.

With the most recent update, Honda has made minor cosmetic tweaks, added new colour variants while keeping the well proven performance package.
2026 Honda PCX 160 – What’s New?
The new PCX 160 is available in three variants – PCX CBS, PCX ABS and PCX DLX ABS, each with updated colour choices:
- PCX CBS – Offered in Pearl White (price: R$ 18,340 / approx ₹2.98 lakh)
- PCX ABS – Gets a new Pearl Spencer Blue shade (price: R$ 20,170 / approx ₹3.28 lakh)
- PCX DLX ABS – Now available in Metallic Black (price: R$ 20,640 / approx ₹3.35 lakh)
2026 Honda PCX 160 – Engine & Performance
The hardware is consequently little changed for 2026.
- Powered by Liquid Cooled Single Cylinder Engine: 156.9cc
- Generates about 16 hp power and 14.7 Nm torque
- Paired with V-Matic automatic transmission

Honda already filed a trademark for PCX 160 in India which has raised speculations about a possible launch.

Currently, the Indian premium scooter segment is getting intense with competitors such as:

With the growing popularity of sporty and feature-filled scooters, it’s only a matter of time before Honda announces the arrival of the PCX 160 in India. However, apart from the filing of the trademark, there is no official confirmation as yet.
