Volkswagen Polo EV is back as the all-new ID.Polo. The legendary hatchback returns in an electric avatar with a sporty ID.Polo GTI variant. Check out design, features, specs, and global debut details.
Volkswagen Polo EV Comeback
Essentially, the legendary Volkswagen Polo is returning in an electric form. The German car manufacturer has already announced that its ID.2all concept will soon be sold as the Volkswagen ID.Pola and restore one of the most popular nameplates in the brand. To make it even more exciting, Volkswagen will also release the ID.Polo GTI and it will be the first-ever electric car in the company to bear the GTI badge.

This action underscores the Volkswagen approach to capitalizing on iconic brand names such as Polo in the EV age to build a better emotional bond with customers.
Polo Legacy Meets EV Era
The Polo has been a symbol of reliability, quality and classic design over the decades in the international market. The ICE-powered Polo was dropped in India, but it is still being produced in South Africa to be exported to Europe. Wolf reintroduces the Polo as an EV in honor of the 50th anniversary of the hatchback, which was originally introduced in 1975.
