Vinfast VF 6 and VF 7 Launch Date in India
Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer Vinfast has officially announced that VF 6 and VF 7 electric SUVs will finally be introduced to the Indian market on 6 th September 2025. Both models have already started making pre-bookings starting 15 th July at a token price of Rs 21, 000. This action will assist Vinfast in capturing a part of the Indian market of electric cars that is rapidly expand wheels

Variants: Earth and Wind

Range (WLTP): Up to 480 km (ARAI figures at launch)
Motor: 204 hp, front-axle-mounted

Having a range of 480 km and a high-end interior, the VF 6 will be a fashionable and functional EV to drive in the city and on long routes.

- Powertrain: 2WD (204 hp) & AWD (350 hp / 500 Nm)
- Range (WLTP): 450 km (2WD), 431 km (4WD)

- Exterior Colors: Same as VF 6
- Wheels: 19-inch alloy wheels
The AWD variant of VF 7 offers a powerful 350 hp output, making it a strong competitor in India’s mid-size electric SUV space.

Vinfast’s Big Plans for India
Vinfast has declared that it was investing 4,000 crore in India in the next five years. The company has already opened its manufacturing plant in Tamil Nadu and the plant will initially manufacture 50,000 units per annum and can extend to 1,000,000 units by 2030.
Tamil Nadu plant will also be an export hub of EVs manufactured by Vinfast to the world market. The future models, such as Limo Green and Minio Green, are already trademarked in India.
Vinfast will establish 35 dealerships in India before 2025 and will provide EV financing to customers in collaboration with the major banks such as SBI and HDFC Bank to intensify its presence in India.

Although the official prices will be unveiled at the launch, industry estimates indicate that the Vinfast VF 6 might be priced at around 22-25 lakh depending on the variant at the start, but the VF 7 will be priced at around 30-35 lakh depending on the variant.
