VinFast Limo Green 7 Seater Electric MPV has been spotted testing in India, hinting at an early launch. The EV offers a 60.1 kWh battery, 450 km range, and a spacious 7-seat layout. Know design, features, performance, and expected price in India.
Vietnamese EV manufacturer VinFast appears to accelerate its Indian market plans. Its next Limo Green 7-seater electric MPV, which it previously patented the design of during the earlier part of this year, can now be seen on the roads in India under testing. These new spy images, taken by the car enthusiast photographer, Sandeep, depict a full-fledged disguised test mule, and it may be an indicator that India may be among the key markets of this new electric people mover.

First-ever sighting in India
The prototype is highly disguised and it is in the same design as the recently introduced VinFast Limo Green in Vietnam. The test mule has the same high upright position, the same vertical tail lamps, and a high glasshouse – features which are very noticeable amid the disguise. The tailgate profile and the alloy wheel design also seem to be the same as the one in the prior patent applications, which also confirms its identity.
Design and Development Phase
On the one hand, the shape of the vehicle indicates a three-row seating arrangement, and the straight edges prove that it will be more cabin and practical-oriented. The test mule also has a digital instrument cluster that can be seen through the windshield which proves that the model is in a well developed testing phase.
Dimensions and Performance Details
Limo Green has the length of about 4.74 meters and the wheelbase of 2,840 mm. It will have a ground clearance of approximately 170 mm, which is ample to the road conditions in India.

The Limo Green is powered by a 60.1kWh battery pack coupled with a 201 bhp electric motor that generates 280Nm of torque that is placed under the skin. It is a front-wheel-drive service, and has an approved range of approximately 450 km (NEDC). The minimum fast charge has been reported to take only 30 minutes at 1070 percent.
Interior and Features
Interior and features The Limo Green has a minimalist and clean interior, 10.1-inch infotainment display, leatherette upholstery, 360-degree camera, and floating centre console. It is likely that the model will introduce comparable equipment to India, where it will have three rows and seven occupants.
Released in India, the VinFast Limo Green would be one of the handful of all-electric 7-seater MPVs, alongside the BYD eMAX 7 and the Kia Carens Clavis EV. It has the potential to attract both high-end family customers and fleet operators that want to have a roomy and environmentally friendly people carrier, given its size and its features.
Made in Tamil Nadu
VinFast has already opened its Toothukudi plant in the state of Tamil Nadu which will be the first manufacturing plant of the company outside Vietnam. The new plant will be helping in local production and exports and the Limo Green may actually be one of the earliest models to be assembled in the new plant.

Expected Price and Launch in India
Cost Limo Green in Vietnam is priced at a point of VND 749 million (approximately, Rs 25 lakh), with a warranty of 7 years/1.6 lakh km. The model would make a good entry to the emerging electric MPV market in India, in case it is sold at an affordable price. As local testing is currently being carried out, look forward to the introduction of the VinFast Limo Green to India in the near future, which will be a supplement to the VF6 and VF7 electric SUVs, adding value to the brand.
