Suzuki has continuously been improving the name Jimny. This new update is specifically exclusive to the Japanese market and will be available to purchase since 4 th November, 2025. The 3-Door Jimny and the Jimny Sierra included in this update have an enhanced safety pack to enhance its attractiveness even more. Let’s take a closer look.
Growing Popularity of the Jimny SUV
Jimny has been a highly desired and requested off-road SUV lifestyle in most of the major markets. Nonetheless, India is not among them and sales graphs indicate that rather well. Maruti Suzuki has not established that such ADAS suite will transform it to India-spec 5-Door Jimny. Its direct competitor, the Mahindra Thar Roxx, does boast of Level-2 ADAS suite among other features, creature comforts and equipments, which has seen it become the best selling 5-Door lifestyle off-road SUV.
It is still driven by the same 1.5L 4-cyl NA Petrol with either 5-speed manual and 4-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. As standard, the 4X4 transmission case with India-spec Jimny is provided. We do hope that Maruti Suzuki provides Level-2 ADAS so as to increase its attractiveness, but it has not been officially announced.
