Toyota’s Recall Notice for the Same Issue
The Toyota Motors Company has issued a recall of 39,506 units of the Grand Vitara after discovering a faulty part that may cause the drivers to lose the proper feeling of the quantity of fuel their car is carrying.
The company indicated in a regulatory filing that the recall applies to vehicles that were manufactured between December 9, 2024, and April 29, 2025.
Fuel Indicator Malfunction Concern
It stated that it is suspected that the fuel level indicator and the alarm light at the speedometer in some of these vehicles, may not be able to show the correct fuel status as it is supposed to.
Maruti Suzuki has indicated that owners of the vehicles that are affected will be called to authorised dealer workshop and inspection will be done and replacement of the faulty part will be given free of charge.
