1. XUV700 Facelift Overview and Sales Milestone
Although the Mahindra XUV700 Facelift 2026 will receive considerable changes, the powertrain is likely to remain the same. Launched in 2021, XUV700 is one of the most successful automatic SUVs sold by Mahindra. Recently in the year past, XUV700 hit a major cumulative sales target of 3 lakh units. According to them, an automotive rendering artist Pratyush Rout has rendered a digital image of the 2026 Mahindra XUV700 Facelift in 8 colours.
2. Exterior Upgrades and Styling Changes
New interiors, better safety XUV700 has a strong presence on the road, but certain changes are required to make it look new. Alterations are likely to happen on the front grille, lighting details, alloy wheels and rear profile. Test mules indicate the presence of refreshed twin-barrel projector headlamps and new LED DRLs. The Mahindra XUV700 Facelift 2026 may also have some new safety features to ensure more protection to the passengers. As an example, certain new Level 2 ADAS functions may be implemented. Safety measures of the existing model include 7 airbags, electronic stability control, 360 surround view camera and tyre pressure monitor system.

4. Feature Enhancements and Premium Touches
Mahindra XUV700 facelift to come with lighting Mahindra logo on steering wheel. The 2026 Mahindra XUV700 Facelift will be fitted with a light-up Mahindra logo on the steering wheel. This is in addition to the high-end interior of the SUV and in line with maximizing the digital cockpit experience. Features will include a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear lever similar to the current offering. Steering-mounted controls will have a smoother profile, and another major upgrade in the Mahindra XUV700 Facelift 2026 will be the 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio with Dolby Atmos, replacing the existing 12-speaker Sony system. With four modes—Immersive 3D, Stage, Party and Breezy—the system will offer an upgraded audio experience. Additional observed changes include auto-dimming IRVM and BYOD rear seat passenger support. Captain seats in the second-row variants may also be offered.

5. Engine and Powertrain Options to Continue
Select variants of the Mahindra XUV700 Facelift 2026 will retain the existing powertrain offerings. The 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine delivers 200 PS and 380 Nm of torque, paired with either a 6MT or a 6AT transmission. Diesel models come with a 2.2-litre engine offered in two states of tune. The higher tune produces 185 PS, while the 6MT and 6AT transmissions deliver 420 Nm and 450 Nm of torque, respectively.
