Mahindra XEV 9S Launch Price & Variants
Having rolled out BE 6 Formula e Edition, Mahindra auto is now rolling out XEV 9S which is the very first electric 7-seat SUV in India. Having no true competitor in the near environment, XEV 9S will form a distinct identity of its own. XEV 9S, in the Electric Origin SUVs line-up of Mahindra has been positioned higher than the XEV 9e.
Mahindra XEV 9S Launch Price The base Pack One Above trim of Mahindra XEV 9S has a launch price of Rs 19,95 lakh (Ex-sh). The variant range gives birth to various types of trim. These are Pack one Above, Pack Two Above, Pack three and Pack three Above.
In terms of design, XEV 9S shares the same front fascia with XEV 9e. It receives the identical dominating appearance with full-width LED DRLs, vertically incorporated LED headlights and fog lights as well as a lighted Mahindra Electric Origin SUV badge. On the sides, there is another similar silhouette as XUV700 ICE SUV, which may be renamed as XUV7XO in the near future.

Other features worth mentioning on the side are huge alloy wheels and flush door handles which automatically pop out. In the back, one can find more similarities to XUV700 which is really sober in comparison to the back of XEV 9e. This may be done to attract family buyers who are not so sporty with design.

Mahindra XEV 9S Powertrain, Performance & Safety
Powertrains and Performance XEV 9S is like XEV 9e, but based on the same INGLO platform. Mahindra Electric Origin SUVs have been fairly accepted by Indian SUV buyers since the company is able to sell more than 30,000 units in only 7 months since the start of sales. INGLO has also introduced intelligent semi-active dampers to its 5-link independent suspension tech and Brake By Wire.
The 0-100 km/h will reach speed in 7 seconds and upon reaching it, it will exceed 202 km/h. BE 6 and XEV 9e share the Blade LFP batteries with Mahindra which has kept a lifetime warranty. It delivers 282 bhp and 380 Nm of peak power and torque respectively out of a single electric motor that drives the rear wheels.
XEV 9S also comes with scheduled charging. By the way, there is 180 kW peak DC charging support with XEV 9S. There are 59 kWh and 79 kWh battery packs and a new 70 kWh pack.
Safety Paramount Mahindra XEV 9S can be guaranteed to be a strong and advanced exoskeleton that has a large dose of ultra high strength steel to achieve high levels of crash safety performance. It has Level 2+ ADAS suite, which has a high number of autonomous driver assistance features such as AEB and Adaptive Cruise Control, like BE 6 and XEV 9e.
