New Kia Seltos – Design and features Although the official information is not yet disclosed, new-gen Kia Seltos should have less cramped interiors. The present day model is 4,300 mm long, 1,800 mm wide and 1,645mm high. The new Seltos is 2,610 mm in wheelbase (internally known as SP3i) and is set to be longer and wider than the existing model. This will be an alternate replacement of the current 6AT alternative. The diesel unit of 1.5 litre produces 116 PS and 250 Nm of torque. The engine also has 6MT variant. Entry-level variants of the 2026 Kia Seltos Spied are available with 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine. It produces 115 PS / 144 Nm and either is combined with a 6MT or an IVT transmission. The turbo petrol engine of 1.5 liters forms 160 PS and 253 Nm. It is being sold with 6iMT and 7DCT transmission options.
New Seltos will be receiving a hybrid powertrain option across the international markets. It can use a hybrid of a 1.6-litre petrol engine and an electric motor. Seltos hybrid New Seltos hybrid will produce approximately 141 hp and 265 Nm of combined power. Kia might also decide to enhance the safety of passengers. The current model comes with 15 safety features. These are 6 airbags, electronic stability control, vehicle stability management, hill-start assist control, rear parking sensors, tyre pressure monitoring system and all wheel disc brakes. Level 2 ADAS package would also be updated on 2026 Seltos. New-gen Kia Seltos will still be competing with Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Honda Elevate, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun and upcoming Tata Sierra.
