Hyundai has provided its best-selling electric SUV, the Hyundai Creta Electric, with a massive update during the festive season. The company has also brought out three new variants with lots of features, new colour options, creature comforts and competitive prices. This action helps Hyundai to gain a broader audience of EV consumers who would appreciate the performance as well as the functionality.
Creta Electric New Variants – 42 kWh Battery Pack
The Creta Electric, built on the success of its ICE sibling, now comes with an expanded 42 kWh battery lineup. Earlier, this battery option was limited to Executive, Smart, Smart (O), and Premium trims. In the new update, Hyundai has refreshed the lineup to include:
- Executive
- Executive Tech (new)
- Premium
- Premium HC
- Excellence
- Excellence HC
Interestingly, Hyundai is the first to sell the most expensive Excellence trim with the smaller 42 kWh pack to clients who wish to get the high-end features but do not require the long driving range.

Price Range: ₹18.02 lakh – ₹22.03 lakh (ex-showroom)
Driving Range: 420 km on a single charge
Creta Electric 51.4 kWh Battery Variants
For buyers prioritizing longer driving range, Hyundai has also expanded the 51.4 kWh battery lineup. Previously available only in Smart (O) and Excellence trims, the updated list now includes:
- Executive (O) – newly added
- Smart (O)
- Smart (O) HC
- Excellence
- Excellence HC
This makes the larger battery pack more accessible, especially for those who prefer range over luxury features.
Price Range: ₹20 lakh – ₹24.4 lakh (ex-showroom)
Driving Range: 510 km per charge
Hyundai Creta Electric – Added Features & Tech
Hyundai isn’t just adding variants; it’s also boosting features across the lineup to make the EV more appealing:
- Wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay (standard across all trims via a wired-to-wireless adapter)
- Dashcam & rear wireless charging pad (exclusive to top variants)
- Leatherette upholstery, ventilated front seats, 8-way powered driver’s seat (now available from Premium trim)
New Colours – Fresh Appeal
The Creta Electric now looks even more stylish with two new shades:
- Matte Black
- Shadow Grey
These additions give buyers a bolder and sportier palette to choose from.
