The all-new Citroen Aircross X has been teased ahead of its India launch. Pre-bookings are now open for the flagship 7-seater SUV with premium features, new design elements, and competitive pricing under Citroen’s 2.0 strategy.
Having recently introduced the Citroen C3 X and Basalt X, the French carmaker is now turning to their main SUV of the company, i.e., the Citroen Aircross X. The 7-seater product is the only offering in the C-Cubed lineup of this SUV because it is the largest one in the brand. The first official teasing of the Aircross X has been made by Citroen, which proves that the introduction is imminent.

Citroen Aircross X Pre-Bookings.
Even though the exact launch date of the Aircross X has not been announced, Citroen has already pre-booked the car in India. As the high-end model, the Aircross X will be loaded with a variety of high-end features and comfort additives in order to shine out in the competitive compact SUV segment of the market.
New Features and Design Updates
From the teaser, the Citroen Aircross X is expected to offer several premium upgrades:
- Cruise control with steering-mounted controls
- Redesigned dashboard with soft-touch materials
- Ambient lighting for a modern cabin feel
- LED fog lamps
- Proximity-based keyless entry with push-button start
- Auto-dimming IRVM
- Leatherette upholstery with front seat ventilation
- Built-in AI voice assistant “CARA” with local language support
- Optional 360-degree camera
The feature list is expected to go beyond what we have already seen in the Basalt X, making the Aircross X a more upmarket and attractive choice for buyers.
Engine and Powertrain Options
The Citroen Aircross X will continue with the tried-and-tested 1.2L 3-cylinder petrol engine options – naturally aspirated and turbocharged. The turbo variant will deliver up to 110 PS power and 205 Nm torque, paired with both manual and automatic transmission choices.

Citroen’s New Strategy – More Features, Same Competitive Pricing
Citroen has taken a different gear in India which they describe as Citroen 2.0. Previously, the brand had concentrated on low prices and small equipments and this strategy was not very attractive to the Indian customers. The strategy is now aimed at the entry-level competitive pricing with the higher trims being upscale.
GST Benefits and Price Advantage
Another big boost for Citroen customers is the GST 2.0 revisions, which bring reduced taxes on larger-capacity vehicles. Citroen has confirmed that these benefits will be fully passed on to buyers, making the Aircross X and other X models even more attractive in terms of pricing.
