The BYD AT1 (synonymously BYD Seagull in some markets) is an entry-level electric vehicle that caused an enormous commotion at the Jakarta Motor Show 2025, the first EV of this category to be introduced by the company. The most remarkable aspect to all was its aggressive price, which was compares to approximately 10 lakh in Indian terms, and it was one of the cheapest EV of its kind.

Having a range of up to 380 km and the reliable Blade Battery technology by BYD, the AT1 might also be the perfect no-frills EV in India in case the brand chooses to introduce it in this country.
