Motorcycles Bigger Picture: Top 10 Motorcycles Oct 2025
Hero Splendor was reigning in sales, but Honda Shine was also in the command position of 2nd place but both had a negative Year on Year sales growth in the Motorcycle sales took some backlash in October 2025, although the two-wheeler segment overall had a good month in October. This was against this backdrop considering the fact that this was a full blown festive month and the sales should have been at its highest during this month considering the fact that the top 10 motorcycles sold last month have declined. The GST reduction which took effect on 22nd Sept 2025 was supportive of bikes with a capacity of up to 350cc reducing the rate by 28 to 18. The motorcycles of over 350cc increased significantly by 28 percent to 40 percent. This would have created a certain commotion through the segment.

Top 10 Motorcycles – Oct 2025 Top 10 motorcycles registered 10,60,399 units which is a decrease of 1.95 percent on a YoY basis. The unit sales of Oct 2024 were 10,81,437 semi-annual and the unit sales of MoM were also dropping significantly in comparison to 11,01,572 of unit sales in Sept 2025.
Hero Splendor maintained itself at the top of the sales list by selling 3,40,131 units last month. It was a 13.15% year-on-year reduction on the previous 3,91,612 units sold in the month of Oct 2025 despite the Splendor holding a market share of 32.08%. Second was Honda Shine which also experienced negative growth at YoY of 11.04 percent to 1,74,615 units against 1,96,288 units.
Top 10 Motorcycles Oct 2025: Growth and Decline Trends
The second in increasing order was the Bajaj Pulsar range whose demand growth stood at a healthy 36.81%. Last month sales increased to 1,52,996 units, compared to over 42,162 units sold in 1,11,834 units sold in 1 month respectively.
The HF Deluxe, which experienced a 1,13,998 units to 1,24,343 units YoY drop in sales was also reported to be in the negative at 8.32% YoY. This was a volume dip of 10,345 units.
TVS Apache range, on the other hand recorded increased demand. In the month of Oct 2025, sales increased by 23% to 61,619 units compared to a sale of 50,097 units in the same month of last year.
Top 10 Motorcycles Oct 2025: Model-wise Highlights
Raider also experienced a significant growth in its sales by 9.64 percent to 56,085 units, which is increased by 4,932 units compared to 51,153 units in Oct 2024. Recently Raider 125 was updated and now features several segment-first features as well as being improved in technology, performance and safety.
The sales of the Bajaj Platina fell by 14.52% annually. The sales declined to 52,734 units against 61,689 units with regard to a decrease in volume of 8,955 units.
The RE Classic 350 at 8th in this list recorded 46,573 units sold last month. It was an increase of 21.61 per cent compared to 38,297 units compared to 2024. The Classic 350 still dominated best sales in the 350cc segment between it and the Hunter 350, Meteor 350 and Bullet 350 and the company achieved a good 14.68% total sales growth.
CB Unicorn and Hero Glamour also commenced the last month on an upward note. The increase in Unicorn sales made 32,825 units by 3.33% percent. Glamour recorded a robust 18.34% YoY growth of 28,823 units in the month that is much higher than the sold units of 24,356 units in the month of Oct 2024.
