Motorcycle Sales July 2025 – YoY Growth Positive, But MoM Decline Continues
In July 2025, the market of two-wheelers in India performed variably as it recorded a robust year-on-year (YoY) growth of 7.68, yet witnessed a steep decrease in the month-on-month (MoM) decline.
Total Top 10 Motorcycle Sales (July 2025): 7,24,629 units
- YoY Growth (July 2024): 6,72,947 units → +7.68%
- MoM Decline (June 2025): 8,39,918 units to -1.15 lakh units.
This was the third month of consecutive MoM decrease, which indicated that the market is correcting with consumer sentiment becoming apprehensive in the middle of the year in 2025.
Top 10 Motorcycles July 2025 – Full Sales Report
1. Hero Splendor – 2,46,715 Units
The unchallenged leader of the Indian motorcycles was the Hero Splendor, which once again led the pack with a growth of 11.73% YoY. It sold over 2.46 lakh units the highest in the top 10 list, which again proved its control in the commuter segment.

2. Honda Shine – 1,59,658 Units
The Honda shine maintained the second position but dropped a little with the YoY at 2.29%. Interestingly, the Honda Shine Electric also received buzz in July following the release of patent images in the internet. After its launch, the Shine EV will compete with Ola Roadster X, Oben Rorr EZ, and Revolt RV in the commuter EV segment.
3. Bajaj Pulsar – 79,817 Units
The Bajaj Pulsar series did not do well in July recording 16.67 percent change a year on year. Despite all the variants, and the design revisions, Pulsar appears to be losing to the newer competitors in sporty commuter market.
4. Hero HF Deluxe – 71,477 Units
Hero HF Deluxe has been a surprise player which had an enormous growth of 53.30% YoY and it demonstrates its growing popularity among the low-end consumers.
5. TVS Apache – 37,566 Units
The TVS Apache line also performed well with a reported growth of 22.44 per cent YoY. Free of charge due to its good brand loyalty and racing DNA, Apache is still among the leading options in the sporty commuter segment.

6. Honda CB Unicorn – 30,572 Units
There was a stable growth of the trusted Honda CB Unicorn at 14.54% per year and the product has remained relevant in the 150cc segment.
7. Bajaj Platina – 29,424 Units
The Bajaj Platina with a growth of 1.72 percent was holding steady with the target market being mileage-conscious customers who are concerned with fuel efficiency rather than performance.
8. Royal Enfield Classic 350 – 26,516 Units
The Royal Enfield Classic 350 had a successful performance with 24.06 percent YoY sales growth, which indicated the brands consistent market leadership in the medium category of the retro motorcycles.
9. TVS Raider – 24,511 Units
In the ninth position, the TVS Raider reported almost flat sales with 0.15% YoY decline with a stabilizing sales that was facing mounting competition in the sporty commuter segment.

10. Royal Enfield Hunter 350 – 18,373 Units
Finally, the Hunter 350 was one of the fastest-growing motorcycles and also registered a growth of 30.29% per year. Its cool design and affordable prices remain to appeal to the urban riders.
