Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 – Launch Time-line
The Royal Enfield is preparing to make a massive step in its line-up of adventure motorbikes with the new Himalayan 750 Touring Model which has been seen with a near-production build. It is reported that that the bike might be seen at EICMA 2025 and subsequently be launched at Royal Enfield Motoverse 2025.
As stated under its expansion strategy, Royal Enfield is not only developing electric bikes but is also developing an entirely new 750cc motorcycle range, of which the Himalayan 750 seems to be the first bike in the series.

Himalayan 750 Touring Model – Features and Design
The new spy images highlight a number of thrilling features that differentiate Himalayan 750 with the smaller version Himalayan 450:
- Alloy Wheels (prior test mules were wire-spoke)
- Circular Digital Cluster similar to Himalayan 450 and Super Meteor 650
- Oversized Touring Windscreen to protect against wind
- Muscular wash Tank extensions and Fuel Tank sculpted to look muscularly.
- 2-into-1 Exhaust & High Mounted Side Canister
- A pair of Split Seats, Powerful Oval Grab Rails and Luggage Racks (panniers + top box bracket)
- Erect Riding Position, Riding Comfort due to wide handlebars, position centrally of the footpegs
This ergonomic configuration distinctly points out at its touring genes, and it is perfect to have some long distance adventure rides.
Engine and Performance – 750cc Parallel Twin
The Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 will get a modified 750cc parallel-twin engine, which is presumed to give out approximately 50-55 hp and 60 Nm of torque, along with a 6-speed transmission.
This engine is reported as a redesign of the 648cc twin (found on Interceptor & Continental GT 650), upsized to give better performance at higher bore. For comparison:
- 648cc Engine Power output – 47 hp / 52 Nm
- 750cc Target Output – 50-55 hp / 60 Nm
With this, riders are anticipated to have better cruising, mainly on highways and long tours.
Premium Hardware Tech
To support its better performance, Royal Enfield is fitting the Himalayan 750 with touring advantages, such as:
- Cruise Control
- Bluetooth wireless connection with Turn-by-Turn navigation
- Dual Front Disc Brakes (upgraded to single disc on 650cc REs)
- Rear Disc Brake
- F/R-19/17 inch
- USD- Front Forks / Monoshock Rear suspension (probably can be adjusted)
Such updates not only enhance handling and comfort, but make the bike also more competitive in terms of mid weight ADV segment.
Expected Rivals
When it begins being sold, the Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 will compete with a few already established competitors in the market internationally such as:
- Kawasaki Versys 650
- Suzuki V-Strom 650
Royal Enfield has adopted an aggressive pricing strategy which made the Himalayan 750 a very probable choice across the Indian market and overseas (Europe & North America).

The Royal Enfield’s 750cc Line-Up on The Way
Other than the Himalayan 750, Royal Enfield is also working on:
- Continental GT-R 750
- Interceptor 750
This new 750cc platform is supposed to propel Royal Enfield in the mid-capacity motorcycle market of the world to a great extent.
