Bajaj Auto has also updated the Pulsar N160 lineup with a new model that has gold USD forks and single seat design. The new variant costs 1, 23, 983 (ex-showroom Delhi), and it has been introduced based on the complaints of the customers (most were requesting single-seat layout without jeopardizing the handling or comfort). According to Bajaj, the update has been customer-driven and is meant to broaden the attraction of N160 among ordinary customers and also among Pulsar faithful customers.

The range of Pulsar N160 now has four variants, the range being set to appeal to varying types of buyers. The current base point is the single seat twin-disc model, selling at Rs 1,13,133, and the second one is the dual channel ABS model, priced at 116,773. The recently introduced single-seat USD fork version comes above these priced at Rs 1, 23, 983 and the highest specification with dual ABS version and USD forks is at Rs 1, 26, 920.

Electricals and equipment wise, the Pulsar N160 still has bi-functional LED projector head lamps with LED DRLs, and LED tail lamps with glitter pattern. USB mobile charging is also added to the motorcycle. The improved versions that employ the dual-channel ABS also provide Turn-by-Turn navigation and the ABS ride mode that is displayed on the console. The USD fork version still has the sporty styling features in the N series with a more upmarket stance as illustrated with the gold suspension finish.

Dimensions, Hardware and Engine Performance
The motorcycle maintains the same size, with a wheelbase of 1,348 mm, a seat height of 795 mm and ground clearance of 165 mm, ensuring that it can be used by a great number of riders. The kerb weight is 152 kg and the fuel tank has a capacity of 14 litres. They have a 100/80-R17 130/70-R17 at the front and rear respectively. In the front brake, a 300 mm disc and a rear disc of size 230 mm are used and have ABS (depending on a version chosen).
N160 range is powered by the same 164.82cc single-cylinder with 16 PS at 8,750 rpm and 14.65 Nm of torque at 6,750 rpm that is combined with 5-speed constant mesh gearbox. The performance is still geared towards the powerful performance in the mid-range and the easy ride in the city which has enabled the N160 car to make its niche in the 160cc market.
