Hero Xtreme 125R gets a new single seat variant priced at ₹1.00 lakh. Soon, it will also become India’s second 125cc bike with cruise control after Glamour X. Check price, features, and rivals.

Hero MotoCorp is aggressively strengthening its position in the 125cc motorcycle segment. After introducing the feature-packed Glamour X as India’s first 125cc bike with cruise control, the company has now launched a new single seat variant of the Hero Xtreme 125R. The move not only adds more practicality for daily riders but also sharpens Hero’s competition with rivals like the TVS Raider 125.

Hero Xtreme 125R Single Seat Variant – Price and Details

The new single-seat Xtreme 125R is priced at ₹1,00,100 (ex-showroom). This makes it around ₹1,600 costlier than the base variant and ₹2,000 cheaper than the top variant. For reference:

Hero Xtreme 125R to Get Cruise Control Soon

What’s more exciting is Hero’s plan to make the Xtreme 125R the second 125cc bike in India with cruise control, after the Glamour X.

The upcoming cruise control variant is expected to bring segment-first features such as:

  • Ride-by-wire throttle
  • Three ride modes – Eco, Road, and Power
  • New colour LCD instrument cluster
  • Dedicated cruise control switch for effortless highway rides
  • Extra buttons for mode and menu selection

This will position the Xtreme 125R Cruise Control edition above all current trims – single-seat, split-seat, and ABS variants.

Engine, Hardware and Rivals

Mechanically, the Xtreme 125R single seat variant continues with the proven 124.7cc air-cooled engine delivering 11.55 PS power and 10.5 Nm torque, paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
