Hero MotoCorp and Harley-Davidson have recently introduced a new highest variant of its X440 motorcycle that they have jointly developed. This new variant named X440 T has been priced at Rs 2.79 lakh (Ex-sh) between Vivid and S variants. We should have a closer look at all the new things of Harley-Davidson X440 T.
Harley-Davidson X440 T Launch The motorcycles above the 350CC displacement category have been struck with the increased taxes because of the new revised GST 2.0 reforms. The plan that Hero and Harley use to overcome these taxes is to keep the old prices and introduce new technology, features, look and excitement in the X440 and enhance its attractiveness even more.

Updated Design and Colour Options
This is precisely what X440 T offers in terms of its rear-end design which has been updated to make it infinitely more appealing than ever. This is particularly in the rear and its notorious distance between wheel and rear fender. Four new colours with updated graphics Pearl White, Vivid Black, Pearl Red and Pearl Blue are combined with the new tail section of the vehicle with new grab rails. The new graphics and colours, together with its redesigned rear-end design, makes Harley-Davidson X440 T a better offer to the consumers than before.
New Features and Technology Upgrades
When X440 T is launched, alloys are becoming standard, with the base Denim model and the wire-spoke wheels being phased out. Other interesting element with X440 T is its bar-end mirrors.
New Features The second component of the equation is to make it more attractive to technological audiences. In that respect, this motorcycle has a ride-by-wire throttle that is equipped with Harley-Davidson X440 T the first time and two riding modes (Road, Rain). Other significant options that will come with X440 T are Traction Control that is switchable and ABS is also switchable. The X440 T with turn indicators flashing automatically under panic braking is also an additional feature that has been added by Harley-Davidson.
Engine, Hardware and Performance Details
As they are, the cycle parts have been retained. USD front forks, back twin shockers, front 18 inch and rear 17 inch alloy wheels, single disc braker set on both ends with dual-channel ABS and others are forwarded.

It has been based on the same 440cc oil-cooled single-cylinder engine that is capable of producing 27 bhp of peak power and 38 Nm of peak torque and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. This has increased the weight by 1.5 kg to 192 kg with added equipment and the features such as TFT instrument cluster, LED lighting among others are not dropped either.
