Hero MotoCorp has officially showcased the updated Hero Xtreme 125R 2026 model at an exclusive dealer event. The bike, first launched in January 2024 as Hero’s sportiest 125cc motorcycle, quickly became the best-selling model in the Xtreme lineup. Now, a year and a half later, Hero has brought fresh updates to keep it competitive against rivals like the Honda CB125 Hornet and TVS Raider 125.
New Design & Colour Scheme Inspired by Xtreme 250R
The 2026 Hero Xtreme 125R flaunts a brand-new Red-Black dual-tone colourway inspired by the bigger Xtreme 250R. Along with new graphics, the bike gets a sportier and premium look. Highlights include:

- Taller handlebar for a more commanding riding stance
- Muscular fuel tank with Xtreme badging and 125R decals

Surprisingly, Hero has also equipped the bike with cruise control, a feature rarely seen in the 125cc segment. This makes the Xtreme 125R stand out against competitors and enhances its touring capability.
Engine & Performance – No Mechanical Changes
The same 124.7cc air-cooled single-cylinder, 11.4 bhp and 10.5 Nm of torque engine is used, and it is connected to a 5-speed gearbox to power the bike. The engine is the same, but newer technology and luxury comfort aspects have made the 2026 Xtreme 125R more attractive to young consumers.
