Suzuki Motorcycle India has introduced the new-generation Burgman Street in India and the price of this model starts at Rs 1.02 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new scooter will be ready in the dealerships starting April 8, 2026.
What is New in 2026 Burgman Street?
The new model has two key variants – Ride Connect Edition at Rs 1,01,944 and the new Ride Connect TFT Edition at Rs 1,13,220. Burgman Street EX is still being sold together at Rs 1,07,902 and this will enable Suzuki to reach a broader customer base.
The new Burgman Street is an extension of its success in the 125cc market and is evolved on the One and Only concept, which emphasized on the design, comfort, and practical use. Burgman has increased to be among the fastest-selling scooters in its category, having more than 1.1 million users since its introduction in 2018.

The new model in terms of design follows a Sleek Modern theme. It has smoother bodywork and better styling features like split LED headlights with position lights, LED tail lights, small turn indicators, smoked windscreen and metallic finish emblems. The general maxi-scooter position still exists, but with a higher-end attraction.
Large Feature Upgrade – TFT and Keyless
Another important highlight is the addition of features. The new TFT model receives a 4.2-inch colour TFT display and Suzuki Ride Connect. It also presents the use of a keyless ignition system, remote fob, and an answer-back feature. There are also other features such as USB charging port, dual front storage compartments, dual utility hooks, engine start/stop system, side stand interlock and waterproof switches.
Practicality and comfort have also been increased. The scooter receives a long and well-padded seat, flexible floorboard having front footrests, redesigned grab rail and aluminium pillion footpegs. Seat storage has risen to 24.6 litres and fuel tank capacity is increased to 5.5 litres with tail mounted fuel lid to aid easier refuelling.

Engine Adjustments To Improve Rideability
The scooter is powered by the same, 124cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine which is based on Suzuki SEP platform. It produces 6.2 kW of power at 6,500 rpm and 10.2 Nm of torque at 5,250 rpm. The torque is a little higher than it used to be, to enhance the low and mid-range performance to make it easier to ride in the city.
The Burgman Street still has a lightweight but stiff frame with telescopic front suspension and a swingarm rear suspension. It is also fitted with the Combined Braking System (CBS) to ensure equal braking effect. The new Burgman Street is also expected to dominate in the premium-end 125cc scooter market with added technology, increased practicality and styling.
Official Statement
Speaking during this launch, Mr. Kenichi Umeda, who is the Managing Director of Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. said, that when we launched the Burgman Street in India, it has made a niche in the luxury scooter market. It has been positively received over the years, and its sales have increased two folds in the last three years. We have seen that Burgman Street owners take pride in owning something different.

It is upon this observation that our engineers have come up with the second generation which is more refined in design and is more comfortable and more high-end in the riding experience. This new model is literally one and only – it is giving a special blend of design, comfort, balance, and real world usability which makes it stand out in the category. We believe the new Burgman Street will reinforce this pride among our customers further.
