India’s two-wheelers sales grew 13.20% YoY in July 2025. Hero Splendor, Honda Activa, Shine, TVS Jupiter, Pulsar, HF Deluxe & Suzuki Access topped the charts.
The two-wheeler market in India achieved high growth in the last July 2025 at 13.20 percent year on year (YoY). Top 7 model sales reached 10,90,257 units against 9,63,086 units in July 2024 adding 1.27 lakhs units to the mix. Although scooters turned out to be the greatest growth factor, the demand of mopeds showed to be declining.
Top 7 Best-Selling Two-Wheelers in July 2025
1. Hero Splendor – 2,46,715 Units
The country’s best-selling motorcycle once again retained its crown. Splendor sales grew 11.73% YoY (vs. 2,20,820 in July 2024), though volumes dropped sharply from June’s 3.31 lakh units. Rural commuter demand saw some moderation, but Splendor remains the go-to bike for reliability and fuel efficiency.

2. Honda Activa – 2,37,413 Units
India’s favorite scooter delivered a stellar performance with 21.37% YoY growth (vs. 1,95,604 units last year). The addition of 25th Anniversary Editions of Activa 110, Activa 125, and SP125 boosted sales, making Activa the clear scooter segment leader.
3. Honda Shine ? 1,59,658 Units
Shine saw a YoY fall of 2.29 percent to 1,63,402 units, compared to 1,63,402 units in the same period last year despite being a stable commuter motorcycle. Nevertheless, it still clung on the third position, meaning that it still has a strong grip among 125cc buyers.
4. TVS Jupiter 1,24,876 Units
Jupiter was the scooter that noticed a significant rise in July 2025 with growth of 67.25 percent (year over year) (vs. 74,663 units). Such rising consumption in the housing markets of cities is a trigger of premium scooters in regards to comfort and features.

5. Bajaj pulsar- 79,817 Units
Pulsar has remained a contender in the sporty commuter segment and dropped 16.67% YoY (vs. 95,789). The market forces indicate that its market rivalry is increasing in the 150-200ccs segment.
6. Hero HF Deluxe – 71,477 Units
HF Deluxe surprised with a massive 53.30% YoY growth, up from 46,627 units. Its affordability and mileage make it a solid choice in the rural and entry-level commuter segment.
7. Suzuki Access – 68,172 Units
Suzuki’s best-selling scooter faced a mild slowdown with a 4.32% YoY dip (vs. 71,277 units). Despite this, Access remains a popular family scooter with its smooth engine practicality
